Wisdom Tooth Surgery

Safe removal of impacted or problematic wisdom teeth with minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Wisdom teeth (third molars) often lack the space to emerge properly, becoming impacted - trapped beneath the gum, growing at an angle, or pressing against adjacent teeth. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause pain, swelling, infection, damage to neighbouring teeth, and cyst formation. Not all wisdom teeth need removal, but when they do, we use careful surgical technique and thorough anaesthesia to ensure your comfort.

The procedure is planned using X-rays or digital imaging to understand the tooth's position relative to nerves and surrounding structures. Minimally invasive approaches reduce post-operative swelling and speed recovery.

What This Involves

  • Impacted Tooth Assessment
  • Digital Imaging & Planning
  • Minimally Invasive Surgical Removal
  • Nerve Proximity Management
  • Suturing Techniques
  • Post-Operative Care Protocols

Tooth Extractions

Simple and surgical removal of teeth that cannot be saved - performed with care and thorough pain management.

Sometimes a tooth cannot be saved, or needs to be removed to protect the health of surrounding teeth and gums. Whether it is a severely decayed tooth, a fractured root, a tooth with advanced periodontal disease, or a tooth that is causing crowding, we perform extractions with careful technique and thorough anaesthesia to ensure your comfort throughout. For teeth that are broken at the gumline or have unusual root anatomy, a surgical approach provides controlled, gentle removal with minimal trauma to surrounding bone and tissue.

Clear post-operative instructions and follow-up care are provided for every patient, and we discuss replacement options early to prevent the long-term consequences of missing teeth.

What This Involves

  • Simple Extractions
  • Surgical Extractions
  • Sectioning of Multi-Rooted Teeth
  • Atraumatic Extraction Techniques
  • Socket Preservation
  • Post-Operative Care Protocols

Minor Oral Surgery

Surgical procedures including frenectomy, biopsy, cyst removal, and other minor oral surgical needs.

Beyond extractions, a range of minor oral surgical procedures may be needed to address various conditions in the mouth and jaw. A frenectomy releases a tight or restrictive frenum (the tissue connecting the lip or tongue to the gum) that may be affecting speech, feeding, or orthodontic treatment. Soft tissue biopsies are performed when an unusual lesion or growth needs to be examined.

Small cysts or benign pathology in the jaw may require surgical enucleation. Each procedure is planned carefully, performed under local anaesthesia, and followed by appropriate aftercare to ensure smooth healing.

What This Involves

  • Frenectomy (Lip & Tongue Tie Release)
  • Soft Tissue Biopsy
  • Cyst Enucleation
  • Operculectomy
  • Abscess Incision & Drainage
  • Suturing & Wound Management
